My 8th graders had their first test today so yesterday during review/study guide checking time, I quickly selected a pre-made set of questions for them to use, then I made one quickly with their vocab words. When the academic support teacher came in to our middle school meeting at lunch, she immediately thanked me for having the kids review for math with games from her time… Our students who need extra help were having a blast, that support teacher was too, and our most hesitant 8th grader said, “Why am I having so much fun studying for math?” Day ONE right out of the gate and you hooked my most reluctant learners!Danielle S., Middle School Math Teacher
