Is it accessible? Do you have a VPAT?
The question card is built from accessible controls, but there are real gaps, such as keyboard play in most Arcade games. A VPAT 2.5 report is in progress.
We are working toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We are not there yet across the whole product. Our Accessibility page lists exactly what works and what does not.
What works today
- Answer choices are real buttons, and typed answers use a real text box. Both work with the Tab key and a screen reader.
- Keyboard focus is easy to see.
- Question text has strong contrast, and pages work at phone width.
- Students have no accounts, no passwords to type and no time limit on joining.
What does not work yet
- Most Arcade games cannot be played with a keyboard alone.
- Question pictures do not have a description yet.
- Screen-reader support for the game areas is partial.
- Some games are timed, and the timing cannot be changed yet.
We do not have a completed VPAT 2.5 yet. One is in progress.
What you can do now
Every bank also plays in the Game Room, where you control the screen and students answer aloud or on paper.
