For school IT: allowing The Game Room and The Arcade
A teacher sent you this page because a school web filter blocks a classroom review-game site. This page lists what to allow and what student data the sites handle.
What it is
The Game Room and The Arcade are classroom review games built by a classroom teacher, Lauren Fulton Math. Teachers write their own question banks. Students answer those questions inside the games.
- The Game Room is run by the teacher and shown on the class board. The whole class plays together.
- The Arcade is practice on each student's own device. A student joins with the teacher's class code.
Use is educational: the games review the teacher's own questions. Suggested filter category: Education.
Domains to allow
Allow these domains, with subdomains where your filter supports it. The sites use HTTPS (port 443).

| www.classgameroom.com | Same site, with www. |
| joinmyarcade.com | Student address for The Arcade. Students join here with the teacher's class code. |

Other hosts, and when they are used
The games and student pages load their own code, images and sounds from the domains above. They do not need a CDN. The hosts below appear only in the cases listed. All are optional.
| Domain | When it is used |
|---|---|
| fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com | Text fonts on the public information pages (not the games). The pages still work with system fonts if these are blocked. |
| www.youtube.com, player.vimeo.com | Only when a teacher adds an intro video to a Game Room game. The game works without it. |
| checkout.stripe.com, billing.stripe.com | Teacher payment and billing-portal pages, shown by Stripe when a teacher buys or manages a membership. Students do not use it. |
| www.googletagmanager.com, connect.facebook.net | Visitor analytics and ad measurement on the public sales and trial pages only. Not loaded on student pages. These can stay blocked. |
Student data summary
This summary comes from our Privacy & Student Data page. That page is the full statement. Our Terms & Refunds are also public.
- Students do not give an email address, a password, a last name, a birthdate, a photo or a government ID.
- A student joins with the teacher's class code. The student picks a class period, a first name or nickname (as the teacher allows), a cartoon avatar and a private picture password. The picture password lets the student get their player card back.
- The Arcade stores which games a student played, how they did (questions answered, accuracy, scores), and tickets earned and spent. This data is tied to that teacher's classroom and is visible to that teacher.
- Class records show first names only inside the student's own class. Records shown to other classrooms show an initial, not a name.
- There is no advertising and there are no ad trackers on student pages. Student data is not sold or shared. We do not contact students.
- Teachers can rename, merge or remove player cards and clear their students' Arcade data. Clearing deletes the data and cannot be undone.
- The service runs on Cloudflare. Data is kept while the teacher's account is active. A teacher can clear it, or request deletion, at any time.
Why the sites may be blocked
Filters often block a site for one of two reasons.
- The domain is new to the filter. Many filters block newly seen or newly registered domains until they are reviewed.
- The domain is sorted as "Games". A site with games in its name can be placed in a Games category. Many schools block that category.
A blocked student sees the filter's own block page. The block comes from the school network, not from our sites.
To allow the sites: add the domains above to your filter's allowlist, or recategorize them as Education. If your filter has a site-review form, submit the domains there. Then test on a student device on the school network.
